SEND

Chestnuts Primary School is an inclusive school where the individual needs of all pupils are considered and planned for. We work closely with the Local Authority to ensure that where necessary, tailored and necessary additional support is provided.

If you have concerns relating to your child's special educational needs or disabilities, please speak in the first instance to your child's class teacher who will liaise with our SEND Team.

MESSAGE FROM THE SEND TEAM

At Chestnuts Primary School we are fully committed to the ethos of inclusion and strive to meet the needs of all pupils within our school community.  We believe whole-heartedly in all pupils getting what they need to be successful. This might result in strategies or provision that differs to others. We are all unique individuals with our own strengths and difficulties, and this should be our starting point. There is no such thing as 'one approach fits all!'

All children have the right to a fantastic education and with the right practice in place we know that all children can make progress from their starting points leading to success and achievement.

If you have any questions or wish to discuss to discuss SEND at our school, please do not hesitate to contact us.
